How are we going to feed 10 billion people in the future?

While around 30% of food is thrown away in the rich countries of the world, up to 30% of people starve to death in other countries. Some people in rich countries go hungry too, but the food is still thrown away. If you don't have money, you have to suffer a little more every day. The rich staunchly defend their system, there are even those who want to starve people, who refuse help simply by closing their borders. At best, the arriving poor are put in internment camps, where they often vegetate for years.

How should we solve these problems? The hungry are supposed to starve and we make electricity from the superfluous food? These are solutions that have been communicated to me in earnest.

Well, I have other ideas in mind.

Canteens could solve many of our problems

Canteens could be built in settlements, neighborhoods, rows of houses, villages, etc. There you could eat and drink together without having to pay anything, this would paid by the municipality. Anyone could come and eat. There would be fixed mealtimes, but everyone could have a meal outside of mealtimes. Basically everyone would be assigned a specific canteen, but you could basically eat and drink wherever you are. No questions would be asked about where you are from. There could be specific menus or individual menus could be offered. The food would be of high quality, and there would be healthy drinks to drink. I did my own study on this. In my survey, this idea was highly appreciated by 97% of respondents. Those surveyed were particularly enthusiastic about the high level of work relief. Finally no longer having to shop or cook caused a real delight. Such a project would not only lead to a very high level of efficiency in the use of food, but would also strengthen social coexistence. According to studies, eating together solves many problems on their own and reduces group violence to almost zero. There are already various projects on this basis, in the USA and also in Germany. Unfortunately, living there is usually not very cheap and therefore only accessible to wealthy people. Such projects have also been successful in the past.

They are nomads and they are poor, but they live life to the fullest. Much more, it seems to me, than the people of the western world, who live alone behind closed doors and also closed hearts, often out of fear of their neighbors. Those who know each other can assess themselves, don't have to be afraid, can accept others more easily as they are, also recognizes more easily that although the other person may be a little different, it is still pleasant to have a good time with them. They have what they really need, they don't need a PlayStation because they are in real life, in the here and now, 24 hours a day.
